Joseph Bonanno, Archetype SC co-founder and president, received official notice of his appointment to serve on the newly formed City of Myrtle Beach Technology Advisory Group. The group of 11 members was appointed by Myrtle Beach City Council from a pool of applicants, based on credentials, experience, and a willingness to serve the Myrtle Beach community.
“I’m thrilled to be named to the Technology Advisory Group for the City of Myrtle Beach,” Bonanno said. “Myrtle Beach is my home, it’s where I own and operate my business, and is a community that I hope to see grow in technology. There are so many things that make Myrtle Beach attractive for potential technology companies, and with the guidance of TAG, I think we can turn the Grand Strand into a technology hub in the Southeast.”
The City of Myrtle Beach’s Technology Advisory Group’s objective is to serve in an advisory capacity to City Council, city officials, and the Mayor. The group will provide information on opportunities to employ technology more creatively and efficiently to deliver municipal services, ways to effectively engage start-up and existing technology companies, and offer innovative and creative concepts that improve the City of Myrtle Beach with and without the use of technology.
