Archetype SC’s Paul Cormier and Patrick Nord are heading to Grand Rapids, MI on February 19 for the Construction Technology and Innovation Conference sponsored by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Western Michigan Chapter and FMI Corporation. FMI Corporation is a trusted advisor in the construction industry, providing management consulting and investment banking to engineering and construction, infrastructure, and the built environment for more than 65 years.
During the one-day conference, Cormier, Archetype SC’s Director of Operations, will participate in a panel discussion titled “Demystifying Tech and Innovation,” where he will join other contractors and technology innovators in breaking down the dos and don’ts of selecting and adapting new technology. The discussion will help attendees learn processes, techniques, and tips for successful technology change management, avoid pitfalls in the adaption, preparation, and execution of technological changes, and hear information on common myths in the industry.
Nord, Archetype SC’s Director of Data and Analytics, will moderate a session at the conference where presenter Dustin De Van, CEO and Co-Founder of Building Connected, will share “Evaluate Risk versus Cost on a Project-by-Project Basis.” This session will focus on making informed decisions when selecting subcontractors in order to lower costs and better mitigate risk in commercial construction.
In addition to speaking roles, Archetype SC will have a booth set up in the exhibitor display area, where company representatives will be available to discuss how Archetype SC can solve business challenges using technology in the security, digital experience, and data analytics space.
The inaugural Construction Technology and Innovation Conference aims to bring the best of the construction industry’s technology solutions to users on the ground and in the work site, to “find solutions you can use tomorrow.”
Along with keynote speakers like Kris Lengieza, Director of Business Development at Procore, and Zach Scheel, Co-founder and CEO of Rhumbix, the Construction Technology and Innovation Conference will feature live-tech demonstrations, exhibitor displays, and networking opportunities for construction industry professionals.
