Throughout his professional career, Bonanno has worked to help businesses better utilize technology, beginning with the first “dot-com” boom in the early 2000s and continuing today as a business owner of one of the largest technology companies on the Grand Strand in Archetype SC.
A Myrtle Beach resident in the Market Common district, Bonanno has worked with businesses and civic organizations to highlight the draw of the Grand Strand, asking executives “Why not the beach?” when speaking on relocation or expansion of business.
In 2019, Bonanno served on the Marketing Committee for the MBREDC and presented at the organization’s technology event in June held at Dave & Buster’s. He also serves as a founding member of the Adobe Customer Workflow Advisory Board, the Myrtle Beach Technology Advisory Group, the Horry Georgetown Technical College Advisory Board, and as a guest judge in the Coastal Carolina University Visual Arts Department’s senior projects last year. Additionally, Bonanno and Archetype SC are members of the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, and participate in events with the Conway Innovation Center and Georgetown Innovation Center.
