Bonanno Begins Work with Technology Advisory Group

Joseph Bonanno, Archetype SC's co-founder and president, will take his place on the Technology Advisory Group for the City of Myrtle Beach, with the organization's first meeting on Oct. 31.

Bonanno will join 11 other locals to make up the group, which will serve in an advisory capacity to City Council, city officials, and the Mayor. Other members of the Technology Advisory Group include representatives from technology companies, Coastal Carolina University, and Horry Georgetown Technical College.

"I'm excited to see the direction of the Technology Advisory Group and what kind of impact we can make in our role as advisors with the City of Myrtle Beach," Bonanno said. "Technology is constantly evolving and making things more efficient and easier. My hope is to impart the importance of attracting technology companies to the Grand Strand to innovate, develop, and produce the next great technologies right here."

Bonanno has owned and operated Archetype SC in Myrtle Beach since 2014 and uses the tagline of "Why not the beach?" when recruiting employees and partners to the area.

The mission of the Technology Advisory Group is to provide information on opportunities to employ technology more creatively and efficiently to deliver municipal services, ways to effectively engage start-up and existing technology companies, and offer innovative and creative concepts that improve the City of Myrtle Beach with and without the use of technology.
