Archetype SC answered the call of its community, donating networking supplies and other technology items to an area school.
The Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology, a nationally certified Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) school located in Myrtle Beach sought donations of equipment for students to receive hands-on training in the technology field. In the classroom, students are learning about coding, networks, and other computer science activities in a theoretical sense, but more equipment was needed to allow for students to truly apply the knowledge gained to a real-world scenario.
Joseph Bonanno, Archetype SC’s president and co-founder, hopes the firewalls, switches, computers, and other equipment will help foster the next generation of technology specialists.
“When we heard about the need for equipment at AAST, I jumped at the opportunity to help impact our youth in such a tangible way,” he said. “As a technology company on the Grand Strand, it is important for us to position ourselves to help grow the interest in technology in the area. AAST does a great job of teaching our youth, so any way we can support their programs is a great opportunity for us.”
Part of Archetype SC’s mission is to help grow and advance technology on the Grand Strand by educating others on cyber security, digital experience, and data analytics. By working with the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology, Horry Georgetown Technical College, and Coastal Carolina University, the next generation of technology professionals can experience the power of technology in their own community.

AAST is an AdvancED whole school STEM certified school committed to preparing its students to be college and career-ready global citizens by fostering creativity, innovation, systematic problem-solving, and critical thinking through participation in rigorous and authentically collaborative academic and career experiences.
Students in the computer science major will study the design and operation of computer hardware and software by developing problem-solving skills and the ability to apply computational thinking to real-world problems. Focusing on programming and coding, ‘app’ and website development, robotics, cybersecurity, computer forensics, and geographic information systems, students will be prepared for further study and the fast-paced world of technology. Work-based learning through mentoring, field trips and internships will allow students to showcase their education while gaining valuable experience.
Archetype SC will join representatives from airports across the country at the 2019 Allegiant Airport Conference in Las Vegas.
Joseph Bonanno, Archetype SC's President and Co-Founder, will attend the invitation-only conference to meet with airport executives and learn how to solve their challenges using technology. The conference will draw representatives from more than 200 airports across the country.
At the conference, Bonanno will showcase Archetype SC's work with airport websites and its groundbreaking A2 Analytics technology. Over the past year, Archetype SC was awarded a marketing RFP for Myrtle Beach International Airport which included the redesign and relaunch of www.flymyrtlebeach.com and increased data gathering using A2 Analytics. A2 Analytics is a combination of sensor devices, machine learning algorithms, software, and reporting capabilities into one package to deliver deep insights. The technology has been successfully deployed at Myrtle Beach International Airport to monitor TSA wait times, along with shopping centers, construction sites, and conferences.

Our Joseph Bonanno will be in San Antonio for the 2019 F. Russell Hoyt National Airports Conference to showcase the power of A2 Analytics and the work of Archetype SC.
The conference, taking place Oct. 6-8, is hosted by Port San Antonio and the San Antonio Airport System and has a theme of Sharing Solutions, Shaping Our Future. The goal of the conference is for the airport industry to "focus on steps the industry can take to create strategies that work in today’s and tomorrow’s aviation marketplace."

Archetype SC was awarded a contract to deploy Pulse Secure's Pulse Policy Secure at Pioneer Natural Resources Company in Dallas, Texas. The multi-week contract represents a continued relationship between Archetype SC and Pulse Secure in which Archetype SC resources are used on-site to prepare the client's environment and deploy the technologies.

SRVA is Archetype SC's security risk and vulnerability assessment, which gives an insightful view of a company's security posture through observation and scanning by expert security engineers. SRVA culminates in a deliverable report that lists vulnerabilities in order of severity, giving a remediation plan to the client.
To perform a SRVA for AIS, Archetype SC will go on-site in Concord, Ca. to run the scan and assess the client's office environment.
