WHY YOU NEED SRVA
Cybersecurity risks for businesses
Statistics show it’s more important than ever to stay vigilant against cybersecurity threats to your business. In 2019 alone, 2 billion user accounts were exposed in more than 5,000 separate business data breaches.
Businesses lose nearly $12 billion in revenue each year due to ransomware attacks.
Somewhere, a business in the U.S. is hit with a ransomware attack every 14 seconds.
Half of all cybersecurity attacks are against small and medium sized businesses.
More than three-fourths of organizations do not have a cybersecurity incident response plan.
Only 20% of business feel confident in their cybersecurity measures. Are you one of them?
Managing Network Vulnerability
Vulnerability management is about much more than just reacting to threats when they happen — and they WILL happen.
At Archetype SC, our approach to vulnerability management is about being proactive and working to uncover issues, mitigate risk, and prevent cyber attacks against a network by finding and eliminating vulnerabilities.
It starts with a Security Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (SRVA) from our team of expert security engineers. By performing this evaluation, we can then create a plan for mitigation and remediation and work with your organization to get in front of any potential cyber risks.
Average number of days it takes an organization to discover a data breach, according to 2018 IDG Security Study.
More than 9 billion accounts have been exposed to a data breach in the past six years. In 2019 alone, more than 5,000 data breaches occurred.
The damage related to cybercrime is projected to hit $6 trillion annually by 2021. Most (68%) business leaders feel that their cybersecurity risks are increasing.
Nearly all cybersecurity incidents are due to human actions and poor passwords are the top cause. Poor password practices account for 81% of company data breaches.
Even though 91% of employees know reusing passwords is bad, 72% admit to doing it anyway. The only solution is the creation and enforcement of stringent password policies.
The number of records involved in data breaches increased 112 percent. It's predicted that the average cost of a data breach in 2020 will grow to exceed $150 million.
A computer with internet access is attacked every 39 seconds, affecting one in three Americans each year. Will you be one of them?
How a SRVA assessment works
A Security Risk and Vulnerability Assessment from Archetype SC combines on-site observation, industry-leading scanning technology, and off-site analysis from our expert security engineers to create a roadmap for securing your network and implementing future security policies.
1. Pre-Scan Analysis
We begin our SRVA with an assessment of your current security practices. A quick and easy questionnaire guided by industry best practices lets us know where we need to begin.
2. On-Site Scan
Our security consultants will visit your facilities to perform a network scan using the same industry-leading technology employed by Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Twitter, Starbucks, and PayPal.
3. Staff Interviews
We get to know your business by speaking with employees at many levels to get a more holistic view of your organization’s security practices and gather details a scanner won’t find.
4. Security Walkthrough
This guided tour of your facility focuses on security-related behaviors as well as potential vulnerabilities in your physical security and network infrastructure.
5. Network Investigation
Our engineers evaluate your device and network configurations the way an intruder would to reveal what hackers might be able to find on your network.
6. Analysis & Reporting
Our off-site team analyzes the scan data to provide an easy-to-read summary of our findings along with recommendations about how to begin remediation of your vulnerabilities. The SRVA concludes with a review session to answer any questions you may have.
We provide IT solutions and services to empower our clients to focus on growing their core business and their employees.
